- Product conformance testing - third-party testing and reporting on hardware and devices that include smart cards, biometric and smart card readers, and related system components to assess conformance to required technical standards and program specifications.
- Smart card interoperability testing - testing of conformance to specifications and standards across physical and logical transmission and application protocol layers.

biometrics technology and systems testing and analysis that encompass data
set preparation, statistical structure and model creation, statistical

as oversight of integrator and vendor test methodologies and conformance,

- Biometric enrollment performance testing - testing of image capture, segmentation, template generation and formatting for storage and transmission.
- Biometric identification system testing - Testing of automated biometric identification systems accuracy in identification of a subject through matching against a gallery (database) of subjects.
- Biometric verification performance testing - Measuring the probability that biometric verification algorithms and systems will correctly identify the true subject and reject an imposter.
- Biometric interoperability testing - Testing the biometric performance using biometric templates generated by one vendor’s enrollment and template generation against another vendor’s matcher.
- Cryptographic module security testing - testing of physical and logical security of smart card chips, operating systems and cryptographic functions to protect smart card code, application data and keying material.
