Stephen M. Hunt

Mr. Hunt serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Identification Technology Partners, Inc. and is responsible for managing the day to day operations of IDTP. Mr. Hunt joined IDTP in 2002 and is engaged in the business of growing IDTP’s identity authentication and management consulting practice. Prior to joining IDTP, Mr. Hunt served as the President and CEO of Datastrip where he managed the engineering, operations, sales and marketing, and financial teams. His efforts led to the production of the first portable, hand-held authentication device which enabled “point of service” biometric verification of machine readable identity documents. Mr. Hunt spent over 22 years with Unisys Corporation where he progressed into senior management roles supporting computer hardware and software training; computer system installation and integration; life cycle management; support services; hardware, software, and services sales; large-scale system marketing and sales; project management; program management; and technology development. As the Director of Personal Identification Solutions, he led the development and implementation of large-scale civil identification solutions, which featured the use of fingerprint biometric technology. Mr. Hunt holds an MBA and has expertise in critical infrastructure solution development, biometrics, systems integration, and national and civil identification systems.
